This diploma level focuses on learning in the field of export-import expertise. Students are given the skills to manage export import documents, including Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Export Packing List, Letter of Credit, Shipper’s Letter of Instruction and Bill of Lading.
In addition, this program offers knowledge about the process of export import, and equips students with mastery of cases of the international trade.
The learning process is supported by several partners as the export-import business actors. The main partners for enhancing the learning process is the Indonesian Export Training and Education Center as part of the Directorate General of National Export Development, the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia. Business practitioners, exporters, importers, forwarders, and customs are also involved in efforts to increase student expertise.
There are not many formal schools that offer this competence, and this program has become one of the largest formal schools of export import in Indonesia.
Alumni associations whose members work in export imports sector have also been formed, so that this is also an attractive support for students who want to have expertise in the field of export import.
As an embodiment of the program’s attention to the community, we conduct research that focuses on international trade. The dynamics of export and import are studied scientifically to be returned to business community as a feed back from academics to industry in order to reach link and match.
