“I hope this activity introduces Libyan cuisine and cooking methods to a wider audience, and that participants enjoy the dishes. If they align with our culture, they might be incorporated into our cuisine. Thank you, Middle Eastern food is truly delicious,” he concluded.

Four students of the International Accounting Undergraduate Study Program in 2023 and 6 (six) students in 2021 who participated in the program were accompanied by Risca Dwi Jayanti, SE., M.Ak., Lecturer of FEB UNS. The 10 students are Muhammad Hisham Asadul Haq, Nabila Syaharani Selima, Naufal Sadewa, Michelle Chin Lee Yan, Sandi Bimasena, Alwan Faiz Raditiyo Utomo, Muhammad Haidar Ashif, Muhammad Daffif Abyan Rusydi, Nurul Yantika, and Syeda Seerat Fatma.

In his opening remarks, the Dean of FEB UNS, Prof. Drs. Djoko Suhardjanto, M.Com.(Hons)., Ph.D., Ak., expressed his gratitude for the visit from the Polines delegation. Prof. Djoko introduced the FEB UNS leadership and several faculty members in attendance, then provided a brief overview of FEB UNS.
FEB UNS offers four undergraduate programs: Development Economics, Management, Accounting, and Digital Business. It also has three master’s programs: Master of Accounting, Master of Management, and Master of Economics and Development Studies, as well as one doctoral program in Economics with specializations in Accounting, Development Economics, and Management. All FEB programs hold top accreditations, with the undergraduate Digital Business program currently undergoing accreditation as it is a newer offering.

After the discussion, the Polines delegation toured FEB UNS facilities, including the international class spaces, faculty offices, and other supporting resources.

Bhimo also expressed his gratitude to Osaka University for extending its collaboration with FEB UNS. Expressions of gratitude are also conveyed to Dr. Jaka Aminata who also assisted UNS in this short course. He hopes that the six students can enjoy the whole journey to the short course, either during the program or on their trip to Japan, both in academic and non-academic activities. “We believe this program will be beneficial for students and the university in the future,” he concluded.
“So you will take three courses, three exams, maybe a take-home exam. For the course to be delivered for two full days, after that there is an exam, don’t panic don’t be afraid, enjoy. Be a professional student,” he said encouragingly.
“Have a good trip, you will study at a cross-country university, and will interact with friends from Japan. During the 10 days, you can take advantage of this opportunity to get a cross-cultural experience, by studying culture abroad. There you can also discuss how universities manage their graduates, this can be shared with the study program. My message is, be enthusiastic, you will get a lot of knowledge and experience, get friends, and keep the good name of UNS,” he said.
That gap must be aligned by a process called audit. The audit process shall be conducted by an independent party acting professionally in accordance with the code of ethics and standards.
This also encourages the development of the theory on how to identify when a fraud occurred. “The motive of fraud keeps growing, initially due to pressure, also because of capability or ability, this is mainly because usually fraud is carried out by people who have great authority in an entity. As the theory grew, a new causative factor called arrogance emerged. The arrogance of someone with a very high position, who feels untouchable or not bound by the rules, as well as the feeling of legal immunity, thus, they feel free to commit fraud,” he said.
The series of investigative examinations includes pre-planning, planning, implementation, and reporting.
The Dean of FEB UNS, Prof. Drs. Djoko Suhardjanto, M.Com (Hons) Ph.D., Ak., in his remarks, welcomed all new students and also introduced the Deans, Head of the Undergraduate Study Programs, Coordinator Head, and Sub-Coordinator Staff.
The Dean also motivates new students to be diligent during teaching and learning activities. During academic sessions, students are required to be more independent, study alone, find their own journal articles, and find their own books with the guidance of lecturers or teaching assistants. Students must be able to manage time well so that they can graduate on time.

Meanwhile, Dr. Wuryan emphasized that the purpose of both assessor’s visit to UNS is not to audit and shall not be feared, because they only confirms the information reported in the DED and the DKPS. She said that the purpose of accreditation is for the university to make continuous improvements to provide better education and professional services. Dr. Wuryan is confident that Prof. Djoko as the FEB UNS Dean and some LAMEMBA Assessors at UNS know what tasks the assessors have to do.

The Plt. (Acting Officer) for the Head of the Accounting Study Program, Prof. Agung Nur Probohudono, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., Ak., CA., CFrA., expressed his gratitude to all speakers and participants attending the event. “I hope on this occasion, the speakers can share their career experience after graduating from Accounting Study Program, including tips on what to do next after graduating, what soft skills are needed when entering the workforce, and how the recruitment process goes,” he said.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the UNS G.P.H. Haryo Mataram Auditorium and was broadcasted through the Universitas Sebelas Maret YouTube Channel on Tuesday (23/5/2025). After the inauguration ceremony, a celebration was held in the Lobby of the Soeharno TS Building.
