Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis (FEB) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) menyelenggarakan Lokakarya Integrasi Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), Magang, dan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) pada Kamis, 10 Juli 2025, di UNS Inn.
Kegiatan diikuti oleh Ketua Program Studi S-1, Kepala Sub Bagian Akademik, Staf dan Operator Akademik serta PIC magang Prodi.
Lokakarya bertujuan untuk menyamakan persepsi dan menyusun pedoman pelaksanaan magang dan KKN di lingkungan FEB UNS, sejalan dengan kebijakan terbaru Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi.

Dalam pembukaan acara, Prof. Tri Mulyaningsih, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., Wakil Dekan Akademik dan Penelitian menyampaikan bahwa magang merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam pelaksanaan MBKM, namun saat ini masih terdapat berbagai interpretasi dan informasi yang belum seragam. Perubahan terminologi dan skema, seperti dari “Magang MBKM” menjadi “Magang Berdampak”, menuntut adanya penyesuaian dalam tata kelola dan kebijakan di tingkat fakultas maupun program studi.

Inisiatif penyelenggaraan lokakarya ini diambil oleh Bidang Akademik (Bidang 1) dan Bidang Kemahasiswaan dan Alumni (Bidang 3). Dalam pemaparannya, Bidang 3 menyoroti pentingnya penataan magang wajib, yakni magang yang berlaku secara umum untuk seluruh program studi dan wajib dilaporkan ke prodi masing-masing. Di sisi lain, terdapat juga magang yang dikelola secara mandiri oleh mahasiswa dalam kerangka program MBKM, yang kini dikenal sebagai Magang Berdampak.

“Dengan adanya lokakarya ini, kami berharap akan terbangun kesamaan pemahaman di kalangan dosen dan pengelola prodi terkait bentuk, prosedur, dan tata kelola magang dan KKN. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga menjadi langkah awal untuk menyusun dokumen pedoman pelaksanaan magang yang sesuai dengan regulasi terbaru,” ujar Prof. Tri.
Perlu diketahui, pelaksanaan magang saat ini mengacu pada Permendikbudristek No. 63 Tahun 2024 tentang Penyelenggaran Magang Mahasiswa. FEB UNS melalui Bidang 3 berkomitmen untuk menyusun dan meluncurkan Buku Pedoman Magang dalam waktu dekat. Salah satu pembahasan utama adalah posisi dan hubungan antara Magang Wajib, Magang MBKM, dan Magang Berdampak dalam struktur kurikulum dan kebijakan akademik.
Dari diskusi yang berkembang, diketahui bahwa meskipun istilah dan platform pelaksanaan mengalami perubahan, secara prinsip Magang MBKM dan Magang Berdampak memiliki kemiripan, terutama dalam memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk berkegiatan di luar kampus selama maksimal dua semester.
Melalui lokakarya ini, FEB UNS berupaya memastikan bahwa implementasi magang dan KKN di masa mendatang dapat terlaksana secara terintegrasi, efektif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran mahasiswa serta dinamika kebijakan nasional.

Penyelenggaraan lokakarya ini juga sejalan dengan komitmen FEB UNS dalam mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs), khususnya SDG 4, Pendidikan Berkualitas, melalui penguatan kurikulum berbasis pengalaman langsung di dunia kerja dan masyarakat; SDG 8, Pekerjaan Layak dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, dengan mendorong mahasiswa untuk memiliki kesiapan kerja dan keterampilan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri; serta SDG 17, Kemitraan untuk Mencapai Tujuan, melalui kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi, dunia usaha, pemerintah, dan masyarakat dalam pelaksanaan magang, KKN, serta program MBKM lainnya.
Dengan integrasi program MBKM, magang, dan KKN yang lebih terstruktur dan berdampak, FEB UNS berharap dapat mencetak lulusan yang tidak hanya unggul secara akademik, tetapi juga adaptif, kolaboratif, dan berkontribusi nyata terhadap pembangunan berkelanjutan di tingkat lokal, nasional, maupun global.



She also expressed her appreciation to the Head of the Fintech Laboratory, Wahyu Trinarningsih, and the organizing committee for their dedication in making this activity a success. “We hope this program not only broadens students’ knowledge but also provides practical skills for building careers in the digital Islamic banking sector. I also entrusted Ms. Dewi to share her experiences in product development and strategies for staying competitive amid the rapid innovation in banking products today,” she added.
“FEB UNS graduates must have added value—not only a diploma but also competencies that are relevant to industry needs,” concluded Prof. Tri.












The assessor team consisted of Prof. Dr. Farida Titik Kristanti, S.E., M.Si., from Telkom University, and Dr. Wuryan Andayani, C.A., M.Si., CSRS., CSRA., CMA., from Universitas Brawijaya. They were formally welcomed at the Rectorate Meeting Room by Prof. Dr. Fitria Rahmawati, S.Si., M.Si., Vice Rector for Academic and Research Affairs, together with the FEB UNS Dean Office, heads of the respective study programs, and representatives from the UNS Institute for Educational Development and Quality Assurance. 



Prof. Tri Mulyaningsih, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., Vice Dean for Academic and Research Affairs, in her remarks, highlighted the national and international accreditations achieved by FEB UNS, including “Unggul (Superior)” accreditation from LAMEMBA and international accreditation from AQAS. She also noted that FEB UNS is in the process of pursuing accreditation from the world’s prestigious body, AACSB.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Undergraduate Accounting Study Program, Prof. Doddy Setiawan, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., Ak., explained that the study program offers an academic incentive in the form of exemption from the thesis examination for students who successfully publish their scientific work in reputable journals, at least SINTA 2. However, students are still required to write a thesis as part of their academic process. He also explained that from the second semester, students will begin taking Research Methodology courses and start engaging in discussions with lecturers. By the third semester, they may choose a supervisor to guide them in preparing their thesis proposal.
As part of the orientation process, the session continued with an academic lecture titled “Emerging Research in Public Sector Accounting” delivered by Prof. Dra. Y. Anni Aryani, M.Prof. Acc., Ph.D., Ak., CA. The lecture provided students with an initial perspective on the importance of research in accountable and transparent public sector governance.
First, the selection of international class students for this term is carried out through students’ academic records and independent admission pathway, which currently is awaiting the final decision for the achievement inquiry selection and independent test pathways. The Master’s Education toward Doctorate Program for Excellent Undergraduates (PMDSU) is ongoing with participants from several study programs, while the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Program for undergraduate and master’s levels is also being implemented. In addition, Level 1 and 2 Internal Quality Audits (AMI) at both study program and faculty levels have been completed, followed by evaluations of the results. Regarding the enhancement of education quality, the AACSB accreditation process is ongoing with the submission of the Eligibility Application and the completion of the Business Unit draft.
On the governance side, the implementation of Integrity Zone and Risk Management across various areas has progressed to reports preparation and risk identification drafts stage, with official reporting scheduled. The entry meeting with the Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI) has been completed, with the exit meeting as follow-up. In terms of collaboration, the partnership program for the Islamic Business Center with BPKH establishment has entered the groundbreaking stage, while scholarship collaborations for undergraduate students at FEB UNS have been allocated and are being monitored simultaneously by the stakeholders.
Alongside the Dean’s presentation on faculty achievements, an evaluation for the second term of the 2024 academic year learning process and preparation for new students in 2025 were also discussed. The learning plan, including lecturer assignments, workload distribution, English language instruction, as well as training and certification as requirements for the final examination were also discussed for the the first term of 2025 academic year. The launch of academic handbooks for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs, along with the implementation of Academic Advising coordination, also became a priority.
